The 10th anniversary of
The Nutcracker and the Mouse King is complete. My girl completed her 10th season of dancing
The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. I can't believe how the years have raced by. She was just a tiny 6 year old ballet dancing cotton candy in her first Nutcracker, and now she is a lovely young woman who is a full junior company member and an apprentice to adult company. It is a pleasure to watch her bloom. She had six roles this year in the Nutcracker (Elastic Doll costume is not shown). Her favorite role was Adult Candy and I loved watching her in all of them, but especially loved Adult Snow. That opening scene always makes me cry a little because it is so beautiful.
