More Snow Pics and a Merry Christmas to All of YOU!

I think we are going to have that White Christmas I have dreamed of for years. Well, at least a slushy Christmas. LOL! We got at least 13 inches of snow and there is still plenty on the ground. It is supposed to warm up a bit today and will probably melt a bit.

Here is the children's first full-size snowman EVER! His name is "bicycle man" (note the bicycle helmet), and he has sun dried tomatoes for eyes! How much more southern could he get. LOL!

The slide off the back deck.

Me in my Pillsbury Doughboy coat and snow pants. I finally know what I want for Christmas ... snow boots and more gloves. Please note ~ I have a sock on one hand.

I want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas ... I hope you have a day filled with love, joy and peace.

Blessings, Dawn

  1. You have a slide off your deck?? How cool is that?!

I'm so happy that you have your snow. What fun for the children, too. I LOVE the sun-dried tomato eyes! :)

  2. Okay, the sock is too funny. You definitely need new gloves! I just went and bought boots for the girls, so we are now guaranteed not to get snow this year!

    Have a wonderful Christmas!

  4. I love the snow pics as I am checking out your site. We haven't had snow like that in years but I remember that from my younger days and I have lived in East TN all my life. I have hopes it will return!

Thank you for the comment on my site. I am very happy with my school space. I do believe in constant learning (I guess that is the phrase) but it is nice to get the books and supplies off the dining room table! We do much of our reading upstairs but I find that my ds is much more focused if we tackle somethings like math in our school room. Thanks for stopping by. Kim
